I attended Hunter’s Flying Solo Season 2 VIP Experience before his show in Anaheim, CA at House of Blues and I’m here to share with you all about it!
I purchased VIP Package One which included the following:
One Premium Reserved Ticket or General Admission
Access to Hunter’s Pre-Show Meet & Greet/Photo Opportunity
Access to Hunter’s Pre-show Soundcheck + Q&A
One VIP Laminate & Lanyard
One VIP Merchandise Package (One Canvas Tote Bag, One Hunter Hayes Sticker Sheet, and One Hunter Hayes enamel pin
Priority Entry Into The Venue
All this with the price of the ticket was $230, which isn’t a huge splurge. If I’m not mistaken when buying the tickets you could pick your seating assignment which is new for the House of Blues.
For the first couples rows + a VIP package, this was a steal!
The e-mail with the all the event details for VIP guests were sent out five days prior to the event which was really gracious on their part. I’ve been to VIP experiences where they sent out details the day of which isn’t great if you’re travelling.
We were asked to line up outside of the venue in a specific VIP line 2 and half hours before doors opened for the show. I showed up an hour earlier than that just to make sure I knew where to line up. The employees and Hunter’s crew were super organized and kind when handling VIP.
They brought us inside House of Blues and got checked in, they asked us to line up again and gave us our VIP gifts and lanyards and gave us instruction on what we could do and could not do in the M&G. We waited about twenty minutes inside before we were escorted to the backdrop where we would get our photo taken with Hunter.
I wish we would have been able to shop before meeting Hunter so I could have bought something for him to sign but he did sign my lanyard.
I was one of the first in line to meet Hunter. Both him and his team were not rushing fans at all. They moved us a long at a good pace, but I never felt like my conversation with Hunter was being rushed at all.
When it was my turn to meet him, I gave him two bracelets and a card, and he looked at the bracelets and asked me questions about them and was super appreciative. I was able to tell him about one of his songs that meant a lot to me and he told me he would try and play it that night (which he did!) He signed my lanyard, we took a picture, and said goodbye.

Once we were done with M&G we got to go into where Hunter would be performing and waited for him to finish meet and greet. When buying the VIP packages the description said we would be hearing Hunter soundcheck but for some reason we just got the Q&A which was pretty long. Everyone got to ask at least two questions, and we still had time after that.
Next, we were able to buy merch and get drinks or food before returning to our seats. It was probably about an hour before Blu Eyes took the stage.
It was by far the best VIP I have been too. It was super casual, and it was so organized. Hunter was really genuine with all his fans, having different conversations with each and every one of us.
