July 27th of 2016 I bough ticket’s to see Miranda Lambert for the very first time. Lambert has always been a really special artist to me so I was over the moon to see her live.
The concert took place at The Greeke Theater in Los Angeles, CA so if you know the venue, you know that parking is limited so we had to take one of the shuttles which made us a little late for the concert.
We got to our seats the second Brother’s Osborne started their set. I wish they had more time on stage because you could tell they genuinely loved to perform and I really wanted to hear more of their music since it was my first time hearing of them.
Brother’s Osborne Setlist:
Greener Pastures
Rum
21
Weed, Whiskey, Willie
Down Home
Stay a Little Longer
Ain’t My Fault
Kip Moore was up next, growing up I listened to him all the time so I was really excited to see him. His stage presence is so fun and he’s full of energy. He is a really great performer and got the crowd hyped up for Miranda.
Kip Moore’s Setlist:
Wild Ones
Beer Money
The Middle (Jimmy Eat World cover)
I’m to Blame
Come & Get It

Somethin’ Bout a Truck
During Kip’s set he ran up and down the aisles of the venue. He even brought one of his little fan’s up on the stage with her and sang to her, it was such an adorable moment.
It was around 9:30PM when the stage went dark and Who Run The World started playing as pictures of iconic country women played on the screens.
Miranda came out in a black knee high dress, it was surreal seeing her live.
Setlist:
Fastest Girl in Town

Bathroom Sink
Mississippi Queen (Cover)
Over You
All Kinds of Kinds
The House That Built Me

I loved hearing Miranda’s Vice Speech live as well.
Everybody has a vice of some sort. Sometimes when you’re goin through somethin’ in your life, you may run to some things you shouldn’t and run from some things you shouldn’t. I think this song is just an opportunity to be honest and own it and say, “yeah I have some imperfections, and here and there I might get in a pickle” Everybody has a vice they run to when they need comfort, and I think that’s what this song says. There is no mystery here. I run to things for comfort just like everyone else.
Miranda is such a transparent artist on stage and that’s one of the reasons I love her so much. She puts her heart and soul and every emotion in the songs she sings.
Venue: It’s an awesome venue, directly below the Griffith Observatory so it’s small which has it’s ups and downs. One thing I don’t love about the venue is having to be shuttled in because parking is VERY limited. A shuttle ticket was $15 per person and the last thing I want to do at a concert is being driven from a parking lot to another parking lot.
Seats: I had tickets for North Terrace, Row R, seat 51. I was able to see Miranda really well and for the price, the seats were great but I couldn’t see the visuals on the screen. If you want to see every aspect of the concert I would recommend different seats.
