Granger Smith, "Country Things" VIP Expeirnece

Granger sells his VIP packages for $75 dollars but by far this is the best VIP I have ever been to. For the price you get a photo with Granger, an autograph and a VIP tour laminate.

Those who bought the VIP packages were sent an itinerary the day of the concert in the morning. It includes all the vital information you’ll need; When, Where, Passes, Photo Instructions, What items Granger can sign, and ticket instructions. This VIP package does NOT include a ticket to the show. It was purchased separately.

The M&G started at 6pm, while the line for the M&G formed around 5pm. The VIP lined moved pretty quickly once they opened the VIP door but we did have to wait outside the venue for quite awhile.

The line formed out of a door off to the side of the theater entrance where we received our laminates by one of Granger’s crew members. We then waited in another line to meet and take our picture with Granger.

There were a lot of people at the M&G but Granger still took time to talk and be present with every fan which was something I didn’t experience in other artist’s M&Gs. Granger especially took time with the little Granger fans and the little Earl Dibbles’.

I was the second to last people to meet Granger which was really nice because I felt like it calmed enough where I could actually talk to Granger without worrying I was holding the line up.

Granger signed my guitar I brought with me, my VIP laminate and we talked a little about the website. Not only did I get a picture with Granger but with Granger’s manager, Chris too who was taking the M&G photos.

They were both kind and genuine.

Although this M&G didn’t have an acoustic performance or something else, the money spent was well worth it. In a heartbeat I would snag VIP tickets again to meet Granger and hopefully the rest of the Smiths next time too.

Luke Bryan Knockin' Boots VIP Expierence

The “Huntin’ Fishin’ and Lovin’ Everyday” singer brought his Proud to Be Right Here tour to San Bernardino, CA on October 16th with special guests Runaway June and Dylan Scott. The tour originally called “BORN HERE LIVE HERE DIE HERE” was previously scheduled for 2020 but was cancelled due to COVID-19.

Bryan rescheduled the tour to resume in 2021 with special guests Caylee Hammack, Dylan Scott, Runaway June and Deejay Rock on select dates.

I purchased the VIP: Knockin’ Boots Experience:

VIP Packages differ so make sure to check what you will be entitled to before purchasing. Due to COVID 19 Restrictions most artists are not offering M&G so make sure you know what you are purchasing.

Here is the backstage pass to show you what this experience was like:

 FIVE DAYS BEFORE: VIP holders were sent an e-mail five days before the event. A lot of important info such as times were included in this e-mail as well as COVID policies, check in information and package questions. For this show in particular as long as you’re there before pre-show (If the package included a pre-show performance) you’ll be good to go!

DAY OF: We got to the venue site at 4:40pm, check in for VIP began at 4:30 and Luke went on for his VIP pre-show at 6:30pm. The venue was completely unorganized and didn’t have proper signs to tell you what things were where. After spending fort five minuets walking around and at the wrong VIP section we finally made it to Luke’s Knockin’ Boots Experience.

There were way more people in the VIP event than Carly’s VIP which I didn’t care for. I think VIP events should be more intimate with less people considering they didn’t have the space for all those people crammed under one tent.

Free snacks (chicken wings, cookies, fruit etc) were offered and there was a full cash bar. Soda, Water and Iced Tea were also offered with a price.

Luke’s Lounge included a look at the first ever traveling Luke Bryan “museum”. Items included in the museum included the following:

• The award envelope from 2015, ACM Awards where Luke was awarded Entertainer of the year, Jacket, Shirt and Boots worn by Luke by accepting 2015 ACM Entertainer of the year, the plaque commemorating “Kick The Dust Up,” going number one.

• a box of cigars from Shore Thing Cigars which is a company co-owned by Luke Bryan, a signed “Doin’ My Thing” deluxe edition vinyl, the plaque commemorating “I See You” going number one and a panoramic photo of Luke performing in Detroit on his, “Kill The Lights” Tour.

• Luke’s Kindergarten diploma, a T-shirt for Luke’s college band, Neyami Road, the first pair of boots Luke wore on stage, Luke’s 2010 “Nut House” fan club t-shirt, Luke’s fishing reel, the plaque commemorating “Play It Again” going number one.

• A plaque commemorating “Huntin’ Fishin’ and Lovin’ Everyday” going number one.

• a Country Aircheck article about Luke’s first stadium concert 6/23/14

• “Kill The Lights” Yankee Candle used to promote his 2015 album, “Kill The Lights”.

• The “That’s My Kinda Night” tour setlist.

• The 2010 CMT Music Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year for “Do I”.

• Shirt and Jeans worn by Luke while performing his first stadium show in Pittsburgh.

1. For huge Luke Bryan fans, I think these are cool items to see but I wouldn’t go as far to say this is a museum but more of a small collection of Luke memorabilia.

   At 6:30pm Luke went on to perform three acoustic songs. Luke sang, “Knockin’ Boots”, “One Margarita”, and, “Huntin’ Fishin’ and Lovin Everyday” while talking to the fans in between songs, even giving a concert goer a beer in the middle of the set.

   We were released from VIP right after Luke’s set around 6:50pm to find our seats or to go to the pit which you have to decided beforehand when purchasing the tickets. Pit space was sold out so we had seats that ended up being pretty great seats.

   AFTER: We only had about ten-fifteen minuets to get to our seats before the opening acts started so we didn’t have time to wait in merch lines or food or drink lines. In between sets you can get beer or water at the stands on either side of the stage.

   THOUGHTS: VIP is definitely an experience - However I do believe that there are better VIP packages that give you more bang for your buck. I also think a lot of the organization had to do with the venue overall but I would live to see Luke’s VIP be handled differently in the future.
