Megan Moroney has been no stranger to the spotlight lately. The Georgia Star blends her southern roots with cowgirl sass, which lands her on the Billboard charts.
Moroney announced her “Am I Okay?” tour in 2024, which led fans into a frenzy to try to get tickets to this superstar’s first headlining tour.
I was able to snag tickets to Megan’s show in Stateline, Nevada, where she was performing with rising country artist, Emily Ann Roberts.

Emily Ann Roberts kicked her set off at 7:30 PM in a glittery pink dress. Her setlist was as follows:
He Set Her Off
Party in the U.S.A
Please, Please, Please (Sabrina Carpenter Cover)
Easy Does It
Jack & Jill Daniels
I’ve been a fan of Emily’s for three years now, and I’m now a new fan of her and her husband, Chris, on their Instagram account @sasserhouse, where they document their life of homesteading and touring.
Emily stays true to herself; what you see on stage and what she chronicles on Instagram is exactly the same. She has such ease up on stage singing, where it looks like singing comes so effortlessly.
I loved her cover of both Party in the U.S.A. and Please, Please, Please. However, Emily’s cover of Carpenter’s hit was incredible, and I hope she records it as a cover so I can play it over and over.

Emily announced she would be having a meet and greet after her set. You can read about my meet-and-greet interaction with her HERE.
The stage was set for Megan Moroney at 8:30 PM, and from the song that Megan chose to get the crowd hyped for her before the lights came on to her final wave to the crowd, the show was perfection.
The song that played throughout the venue before Megan came out was the theme for Hannah Montana, Best of Both Worlds. This is a nod to Megan’s love of the franchise and also a running joke she has with her fans.
Megan’s band came out on stage as stars appeared on the screens on both sides and behind the stage. After a ten-second countdown, which was more of a spaceship taking off countdown, Megan ran up an elevated portion of her stage as the crowd lost their minds.

In the middle of the set, Megan’s band performed karaoke-style mashups of Mustang or Me, Kansas Anymore, as fans sang along to the lyrics shown on the screen while Megan did an outfit change.
This was my first time seeing Megan, and I’ve been a massive fan of hers forever. This concert was way overdue, and Megan did not disappoint.
From the setlist, Broadway-style performances, and talking to the crowd as if it were an intimate conversation. There isn’t one thing I’d change or ask more of.
Megan is definitely an artist who remembers how it was and still is to see her favorite artists perform (Taylor Swift), and she carries parts of what she enjoys from their concerts into her own, but caters it to her crowd.

It’s one thousand percent the fan’s show from the setlist, her iconic emo cowgirl outfits, to the visuals, and Megan throwing in the little ad-libs she knows fans have loved over the years.
It’s such an inspiring and cool thing to see an artist such as Moroney do nowadays. You can see and hear the excitement from the fans when Megan makes fun gestures towards them and adds songs to the setlist she knows they want to hear, via social media.
Though Megan hasn’t been in the limelight a long time, it was a perfect show for first-time fans, like me, to attend. Megan performed songs from each album, giving attendees a glimpse into different eras of her career.

Throughout the show, Megan took time to talk to the audience, each time expressing her gratitude to anyone who bought tickets, merch, created their own outfits and signs, and spent their Saturday night with her.
She was really genuine in her graciousness and took time to look out into the crowd to read signs and compliment on the sea of glitter, blue outfits, and blue bows that filled Stateline, NV that night.
During Megan’s performance of Miss Universe, a fan is chosen by her team before Megan takes the stage for the first time each night. This fan is brought on stage during this performance and is able to meet Megan and receive a dozen blue roses from Megan herself, being named the winner of the Miss Am I Okay? Tour of that night.
It’s become a tradition early on in the tour for a younger Megan fan to be chosen, as Megan has shared the importance of making that core memory for younger fans.

There’s no question about it that Megan is such a girl’s girl, and this is very much a girls’ concert. The whole night, as Megan puts it, is a group therapy session where we cover breakups, best friends, mamas, and mean girls.
If I had to absolutely make any changes, it would be to add two more songs to the setlist only because of my love for these two songs in particular: Traitor Joe and You Had To Be There (feat. Kenny Chesney). And, again, if this were a must, I would take out I’ll Be Fine to make room for one of these songs.

I truly mean it when I say that this concert had everything, and I really had to think about it when writing this. If asked to change one thing, what would it be?
This was the LOUDEST concert I have ever been to. No, the music engineers didn’t overdo it. The crowd was absolutely insane, to the point that even Megan commented on how insane it was that we were so loud for the first couple of songs in.
I can’t wait to see Megan again. I’d buy tickets to another show on this tour. If you can catch any resale tickets, do not sleep on this. You will have the best night of your life with Megan Moroney.
Venue: The show took place at the Lake Tahoe Amphitheater at Caesars Republic. I was really blown away by this venue. The cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff, and overall, the location. It is right across the way from the lake, and what a stunning place to attend a concert. You can’t see the lake from the seats by you, but you will feel the lake breeze come evening. This venue is on the smaller side because of the location, and because of that, let’s just say that they pack a lot in one place. It’s not like sardines by any means, but be ready to weave through lines.
Seats: Section 101, row 10, seats 27-28. I was a little nervous when purchasing these seats because there were no good view pictures from this section online. When we got there, I was surprised by how good our view was, and so was about half of the people we were seated next to me. Having actually gone to the venue, I can say with full confidence that 98% of the seats there, you will get a great view! The only seats I was unsure of were the seats on the side view bleachers on the very end, towards the entrance to the actual part of the venue where the seats are. Even then, there weren’t any huge obstructions, but there were some mechanical things in the way that could be a problem. The seats on the ‘floor’ are collapsible chairs, as are ADA seats. The other seating available is bleachers, and while they weren’t terrible, you are elbow to elbow with your neighbors, and you have your knees up to your chest.
Merch: I think Megan has had some of the best merch I’ve seen in the past few years. She had tons of options, including the new 6 Months Later shirt. I will say, Megan’s merch is pretty overpriced. It is essentially the first time I have ever paid $100 for a sweater; granted, it is super warm and seems to be good quality. The line for merch got insane, and they did run out of certain sizes of popular items (I think it was the long-sleeve cameo shirt) after Emily’s set concluded. The merch line before Emily went on was wrapped around the venue, so if you are worried about getting what you want without waiting in a massive line, I’d get there an hour early, depending on your venue’s rules.
Overall: It was pretty perfect! Megan puts on a really amazing show that leaves you feeling fulfilled as you’re walking back to your hotel. I don’t have complaints about the show, merch, staff, or venue at all. Everything was seamless, and I can’t believe how friendly and efficient the staff was. Megan Moroney fans are also super sweet, and I struck up a conversation with one fan in line for merch. The only thing I would say is, if you don’t like heights, are easily claustrophobic, or have medical conditions where you get dizzy easily, I would not recommend sitting on the bleachers. Splurge on getting ground seats; it will be so much more worth it.
